

Purpose
The purpose of this committee, appointed by the Board, is to formulate responses to requests for comment and generate other documents for approval by the GME/T Board. The committee will educate colleagues and the larger GME community on federal and state policy issues related to GME financing and governance, lead quarterly open community meetings and develop communications, briefs, and other documentation to inform individual members’ and others’ advocacy efforts in transforming GME.
Membership Eligibility
Members of the committee must be a current member of GME Transformation – either a paid individual member or a named individual under a paid organizational membership

Committee Calendar
The Legislative Committee meets monthly and as needed on the fourth Monday of each month.
The committee also hosts a quarterly public forum in September, December, March, and June. The forum is scheduled from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Eastern (12:00 to 1:00 Central; 11:00 to 12:00 Mountain; 10:00 to 11:00 Pacific). This forum invite is sent to members of GME Transformation, and individuals who have attended our meetings in the past. If you wish to participate in the quarterly forum and receive notice of the meeting, contact the Committee Chair (see below).
