Purpose

The purpose of this committee, appointed by the Board, is to formulate responses to Federal or State requests for comment and generate other documents for approval by the GME/T Board. The committee will educate colleagues and the larger GME community on federal policy issues related to GME financing and governance, lead quarterly open community meetings and develop communications, briefs, and other documentation to inform individual members’ and others’ advocacy efforts in transforming GME.

Membership Eligibility

 

Members of the committee must be a current member of GME Transformation – either a paid individual member or a named individual under a paid organizational membership

Committee Calendar

The Legislative Committee meets monthly and as needed and hosts a quarterly public forum from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Eastern (12:30 to 1:30 Central; 11:30 to 12:30 Mountain; 10:30 to 11:30 Pacific) on the 1st Monday of August, November, February, and May. This forum invite will be sent to paid members, individuals who register as “Friends” of GME Transformation, and individuals who have attended our meetings in the past. If you wish to participate in the quarterly forum and receive notice of the meeting, simply register hereInterested individuals may also contact the Committee (see below).
